Prevention and Postural Re-education

By using the Ergoneck, you will learn to sit with proper posture in your chair. This can prevent head tilt/ rounded shoulders and associated musculoskeletal dysfunctions of the neck, shoulders, and head.

However, because many people already habitually sit with their head tilted forward and their shoulders rounded from years of poor sitting posture, the Ergoneck can also be used to effectively re-educate the body to conform to proper sitting posture. With this in mind, though you could see some immediate reduction/ relief of pain and discomfort when using the Ergoneck, it will likely take some time to attain the maximum benefits of the device. The longer you have engaged in poor or inappropriate sitting posture, the longer it may take to rectify the problem.

I have been using my adjustable headrest for about two months, and it has made an amazing difference in the amount of upper body fatigue I feel at the end of each day! Working in an office I found myself sitting forward and "hunched" over my PC too many times. The headrest is a great reminder to sit back and straighten up!
